Sukti Dhital is the Deputy Director of the Robert L. Bernstein Institute for Human Rights at NYU School of Law and a human rights lawyer with extensive international law experience in the fields of economic and social rights.  Previously, Dhital was the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Nazdeek, a legal empowerment organization committed to bringing access to justice closer to marginalized communities in India.  Prior to Nazdeek, She was the Director of the Reproductive Rights Unit at the Human Rights Law Network, India, and also worked at the American Civil Liberties Union’s Reproductive Freedom Project and Bingham McCutchen LLP.  She received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.
